Last half term we were learning about the artwork of author: JRR Tolkien, in particular his style of maps. We used rice to create a really weird shape, different to everyone else’s. Then we planned where each place would be and made up place names (some of us magpied from books and films we like). We used ink pens to draw forests, mountain ranges and seas in his style.
